Firmware Update : iPhone 2.0.1 now available through iTunes

iTunes published an update for 2.0 a yesterday. Reports has it that the sluggish behaviour some encountered in Contacts and the Camera app are fixed! Apples official line in the update contents sticks to the usual “Bugfixes“.

Apple only lists “Bug Fixes” amongst the changes. Early claims:

Backup process for the iPhone is much faster.
Netshare still works
SMS [...]

There is no news from the iPhone Dev Team about an update for their Pwnage tool. So dont update this version till Dev Team releases its Update on Pwnage Tool.

Note : The current versions of Pwnage and WinPwn will not work with 2.0.1 right now!! Stay posted for updates to these programs.
